The Yard Ramp Guy sells and rents quality new yard ramps and used yard ramps to businesses nationwide. The Yard Ramp Guy treats prospects and customers with the same respect and enthusiasm for their well-being as our vendors and employees. Regardless of whether we're buying, selling, or renting, we strive to be the primary source in the United States for new and used yard ramps for purchase and/or rental.

About Our Products
The Yard Ramp Guy has worked with its preferred factories to offer not only hydraulic mobile ramps but 2-gear hand-crank versions as well. In either case, one person can maneuver the ramp into place at the back of a truck, railcar, container or dock using a forklift. One person can also level and secure the ramp in a matter of minutes.

Terms + Conditions
All orders require 100% Prepayment prior to order processing. Our streamlined 21st century business model means we limit our overhead. For this and other reasons, we offer the industry’s best pricing across the entire line of yard ramps, portable docks, dock ramps, and both mobile and stationary forklift ramps. How else to we do it? One way is that we consider our receivables and payables accounts as Sales-in-Process holding accounts only. We pay our vendors as we go, making us their favorite dealer. And we save our customers a lot of money in return for not having to engage in chasing down profit-depleting past-due invoices. We thank you for understanding and applaud you for putting your money into the tool you need rather than our competitors’ unfortunate bricks and mortar overhead.
- The Yard Ramp Guy collects and remits sales tax for the following states: AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, ND, NE, NJ, NY, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, VA, WA, WI. For all other states, Customer accepts responsibility for self-assessment of applicable state and local sales and use taxes.

Freight and Turnkey Services Costs: All orders require a freight quote (even for orders in which you intend to handle your own customer pickup). Any order may require Customer to add Turnkey Off-Loading, Turnkey Assembly and/or Turnkey Installation Services. Turnkey Services are available but are not offered for on-line purchases. If you think you might need one or more of these services, please call for quote BEFORE finalizing your purchase on-line.
Ship to Locations: The Yard Ramp Guy ships within the 48 contiguous United States ONLY, unless specified. Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii and International will ship to Customer’s designated port-of-call whereupon Customer’s designated agent takes possession of the products and handles the delivery to its final destination. Shipping is paid by the buyer. NOTE: Freight lanes and conditions change frequently. NOTE ALSO: The Yard Ramp Guy ALWAYS considers opportunities to “piggyback” two or more orders on a single freight lane. In doing so, we save all Customers included on such a shipment a great deal of freight cost. Be sure to ask about potential piggyback opportunities when you call.

Shipping Charges: Shipping charges are based upon weight, dimensions, lane distance and demand ratios, and type of flatbed carrier required. All shipping charges are prepaid with order placement. All shipments are F.O.B. shipping point.
Flatbed Trailer Shipping: Ramp systems ship via flatbed to your address. Please refer to the item description or your Sales Quote for more details on the specific item(s) you have ordered.
Point-of-Contact at Delivery Site: A Point-of-Contact representing the customer at the shipping destination must be provided prior to order loading at the origination site. The Yard Ramp Guy requires the Point-of-Contact’s name, cell phone and email address. Freight shipped items must be signed for by a customer’s designated agent. The shipping broker and/or carrier driver will be speaking directly with the customer’s Point-of-Contact prior to loading at origination and through to delivery.
Off-Loading Responsibility: Customers are responsible for off-loading upon arrival of the flatbed. Confirmation of Customer’s ability to off-load will be conducted several times prior to shipment to be certain order does not ship without off-loading plans in place. In the event Customer will not have the necessary equipment or personnel for conducting a safe off-load, The Yard Ramp Guy provides Turnkey Off-Loading services. Turnkey services must be ordered and prepaid with order placement.
Communication: By way of The Yard Ramp Guy’s freight broker, other assigned vendor and/or the driver of the flatbed, Customer will be called and updated of the expected delivery time when flatbed carrier is within 30-90 minutes from your delivery location. Order status will be sent to you via email and/or direct phone call. Please make sure that your email is entered correctly in checkout and be sure to allow correspondence from YardRampGuy.com to your inbox. Any representative of The Yard Ramp Guy or its preferred vendors will keep you informed on progress and/or changes to your delivery as such notifications warrant.
Ship To Address: Please note that we use contracted third party flatbed carriers to ship your portable dock ramp. Please provide the street address for where the ramp will be off-loading for use. Please make sure that the shipping address that you provide is correct. On-Line ordering does not permit address changes after payment. In the event you need to change or correct a delivery address, please call The Yard Ramp Guy immediately. Freight charges may change as a result of the change of delivery address.
Customer Pickup: Customer may provide The Yard Ramp Guy with their own preferred vendor or in-house resources for picking up an order. Regardless of who loads, transports and/or off-loads an order, The Yard Ramp Guy must coordinate directly with such vendors. Orders may incur a pickup fee. Please call BEFORE finalizing your purchase on-line.
Order Processing Time + Production Time (if not in stock) + Time in Transit = Total Delivery Time. All references to time are based upon Monday through Friday work days, excluding national holidays or factory down-time.
- Order Processing Time: Order processing begins once payment has been received by The Yard Ramp Guy. For orders requiring site photos, measurements or approval signatures, all of these necessary pre-shipment requirements must be received by The Yard Ramp Guy and are a part of Order Processing Time.
- Production Time: If the product ships from a factory, the order will be sent to the manufacturer to process and produce. Production times vary depending on the product. Please refer to the individual item description on your Sales Quote for estimates on factory shipped items. Production Times can run with a range of: 5-20 business days; typically 7-10 work days.
- Transit Time: Our standard shipment method is by flatbed carrier. Once your order is shipped it will take 1-4 days to get it to you depending upon freight lane distance and whether your order is shipping on a dedicated flatbed or partial load.
- Expedited Delivery: We will always attempt to deliver in the shortest and most efficient manner. Due to the nature of our shipments, “expedited delivery” is not a real term.
Order Changes and Cancellations
The Yard Ramp Guy will honor Order Changes and Cancellation so long as request does not occur after the order has begun production, AND on a case-by-case basis. Any additional costs associated with an order change or cancellation are the responsibility of the customer. If additional costs are incurred, Customer must prepay those costs before the order can continue.
To cancel an order the following conditions must apply:
- The completed order has not shipped.
- The completed order has not had production begun by factory.
- If order is placed on The Yard Ramp Guy’s website shopping cart, cancellations must be made by email. Cancellations made by phone may not be accepted.

Q: Can I buy the item in multiples?
A: Yes. Please select the Buy It Now button of the item you would like to buy but do not pay for the item. Email the item quantity to us and we will update your cart quantity and combined shipping for you.
Q: How quickly will you get back to me if I leave a voice mail or send an email?
A: We work hard to quickly answer your question in a timely manner. Our offices are open weekdays 8:00AM - 5:00PM CST to answer any question you may have. Please note that we are closed on weekends and holidays.
Q: What taxes are applied to my order?
The Yard Ramp Guy collects and remits sales tax for the following states: AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, ND, NE, NJ, NY, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, VA, WA, WI. For all other States, Customer accepts responsibility for self-assessment of applicable state and local sales and use taxes.
Q: Will you accept a Money Order as a form of payment?
A: No. Unfortunately, for on-line orders we are not able to accept any other form of payment other than credit card or purchase order.
Q: Will you accept a Credit Card as a form of payment?
A: If you prefer to pay by credit card, call to discuss.
Q: Is the price negotiable? Can I submit a best offer?
A: We apologize for the inconvenience but we are unable to sell any of our listings for less than we have them listed. We will not respond to requests to lower the price. If you have a better competitor quote for the same item, contact us directly. The Yard Ramp Guy will often match a competitor's quote and then better it by $100.00. We require presentation of the original competitor quote and verification prior to honoring the price.
Q: When will my item ship?
A: Upon receipt of all required documents and payment in full, order will proceed to production, or if in stock to pickup and delivery.
Q: Will you ship out my item on a weekend or holiday?
A: We will be happy to ask and advocate on behalf of our customers. Occasionally a freight carrier will be able to accommodate the request. We believe you don’t get if you don’t ask. That said, is rare to be asked for this request and equally rare for the request to be granted.
Q: When will I receive my item?
A: Items already built will ship as quickly as a carrier can be confirmed. This can be hours up to days depending upon conditions ranging from lane ratios to severe weather anywhere at or between the origination and destination.
Q: Can I pick it up an item from you?
A: We are happy to accommodate requests for customer pickup. However, The Yard Ramp Guy must qualify and approve of any flatbed carrier or other vendor required for the pickup and delivery. The Yard Ramp Guy also may require customer and their preferred vendor to coordinate through us to assure smooth pickup and delivery.
Q: Why are you charging me tax?
A: For those states listed above ("What taxes are applied to my order?"), laws require that we must collect sales tax.
Q: Do you Ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or any international destination including Canada?
A: Of course! Though we are unable to ship any of our items outside of the lower 48 contiguous United Sates, we do, however, ship to any port-of-call designated by the customer whereupon they take possession of the order and turn it over to their freight forwarder. We will coordinate with any vendor designated by customer.
